2nd Chance Dog Rescue

Large indoor/outdoor suites with heating and cooling as necessary.  Also includes use of 900 sq. ft. day runs and access to 1/4 acre exercise yards for social dogs or individual play!

Pricing (effective January 1st, 2010)

Check in/Check out time: Daily by arrangement, 7 days a week

Departure day: If you pick up by 4PM, the day is on us, but AFTER 4PM you pay

Dogs adopted from 2nd Chance receive a 50% discount on boarding, except on major holidays!

Please note, all dogs MUST be current on shots (Rabies, Bordetella and DHPP) and we require copies of relevant certificates.  We highly recommend that dogs boarded during the period of April-October receive the rattlesnake vaccine.  Owners are asked to supply sufficient amounts of the dog's regular food to avoid an upset stomach. Please also bring your dog's favorite bed, blankie and/or toys!

A 50% deposit is required for first time customers!

Directions to our kennel:

From the North:

Take 14 South and exit at Red Rover Mine Road.  Turn left off ramp and make a right at the fork onto Sierra Highway.  Pass Crown Valley Community Church on left, then make a right on Shannondale Road.  Take to intersection and make a left on Shannon Valley (dirt road).  Continue past Basset Hound Rescue Ranch sign and take the next right on Quail Canyon Road.  We are the third house on the left, #35610.  The kennel is accessed through the gate beyond the house.

From the South:
